Bitcoin's September stumble is right on schedule. The crypto king kicked off the month with a 2% dip, now hovering around $58,000. August wasn't kind either, closing 8.6% down. So much for the usual 1.75% monthly gain. But hold on, not all hope is lost. Some analysts are eyeing the mid-$60,000 range as a short-term target. A classic case of delulu or do they have something to base this optimism on?

On Aug. 19, Tether launched its United States dollar-pegged token on the Aptos blockchain to offer users reduced transaction costs. The integration of USDT (USDT) on the layer-1 blockchain aimed to utilize Aptos’ scalability and speed while furthering Tether’s plans to improve digital currency use and accessibility globally. The launch of USDT on Aptos will provide users with an “economically viable” option that would only cost “a fraction of a penny.”

What Is Holo (HOT)? Holo is a peer-to-peer distributed platform for hosting decentralized applications built using Holochain, a framework for developing DApps that does not require the use of blockchain technology. The goal of Holo is to serve as a bridge between the broader internet and apps built using Holochain, offering an ecosystem and marketplace in which DApps are easily accessible, as they are hosted on the internet by Holo network participants. The Holo network will be facilitated using a token called HoloFuel, which is actively being tested and will act as an accounting system to pay hosts for their services. In 2018, the project minted an ERC-20 token, HOT — also known as HoloToken — as an "IOU" that will be redeemable for HoloFuel upon launch. Holo is still in development and is expected to launch for open alpha and beta testing by 2021.

What Is JUST (JST)? JUST is a popular new decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem built for the TRON blockchain. It is an entire suite of products that are mostly centered around a decentralized stablecoin lending platform known as JustStable. The platform launched in August 2020 following an initial exchange offering (IEO) on the Poloniex LaunchBase platform earlier that same year, but the native governance token of the platform (JST) has been circulating since May 2020. It is a two-token ecosystem built around the USDJ and JUST (JST) tokens. USDJ is a multi-collateral stablecoin that has its value pegged to the value of the US dollar (USD), whereas JST has a variety of functions on the platform — paying interest, helping maintain the platform and participating in its governance, helping to set parameters like interest rates (stability fees) and the minimum collateralization ratio. The platform is designed to provide a fair and borderless hub of DeFi products, that any TRON user can access.

How is my tip allowance calculated? Your daily tip allowance is based on how much $DEGEN you have locked in the Degen vault. For example, if the total locked funds are 10 million $DEGEN and you lock 10,000 $DEGEN, you will get 0.1% of the tip allowance pool. The tip allowance pool is currently 4.5 million $DEGEN daily, so you would receive 4,500 $DEGEN as your tip allowance. If the pool size changes due to more people depositing or withdrawing, your tip allowance will change accordingly. There is a maximum daily tip allowance of 10,000 $DEGEN, no matter how much you lock. Additionally, 500,000 $DEGEN is added daily for users who rank in the top 5,000 on Farcaster as ranked by OpenRank. You can find the exact formula on Dune.
