but having something like notifs (email/sms/push notifs) when you're about to lose streaks would be better - something which warpcast does

or maybe a personalised popup in the apps' website which says to have atleast 3 casts scheduled for next 3 days to effectively not lose streaks

I agree, while the core message can be stronger leveraging streaks is a smart way to create user habits. For me It’s an interesting strategy to keep users coming back, which is essential in developing a strong user base.
