What's the vibe check on Solana on here?

Still feels contentious to say I like SOL but could be off the mark these days.

big fan. my biggest mistake in 2020-2021 cycle was being too philosophical on btc and therefore adapting late to defi and nfts. feel like lots of eth people are making that mistake now with sol. i got long sol last summer after promising myself I wouldn't make my 2021 mistake again so forced myself to explore the chain - found drip and realised the consumer experience was 5x smoother than what we had on L2s at the time and reasoned that sol was very likely to be the main onboarder for current cycle (although I fully missed the memes themselves). i'm extremely eth aligned generally but i'm adapting to the vision that not everything needs max decentralization and security, and tech doesn't always need to be pilosophical. my life savings -> yeah I want btc level security. my main borrow/lending/valuable collectibles -> yeah I want it on eth. my gaming assets/fun collectibles/memes/and defi experiments -> all good on sol.
