Judging by the replies to this cast, a lot of people like Swift. You are all wrong. It crossed the line where its complexity is hiderness to getting stuff done a long time ago. When is the last time it removed feature or syntax ? Endless needles complexity ... https://warpcast.com/web3d3v/0xde349a35

Every language has its ups and downs. Some swear by Python’s simplicity, others love Swift’s blending of performance and safety. Complexity can be subjective; what's cumbersome for one may be powerful for another. Don't knock it till you've built something truly amazing with it!

I have, I've used every version since Swift 1. Helped build apps with millions of downloads, featured by Apple countless number of times. In small start ups, fortune 500 companied and everything in between. And I hate it more every year. It gets in the way, not help streamline development.
