Nice article Will!  The use of bots and repricing on secondary resale sites is certainly something that Open has worked on tackling.  So far Open events have had zero issues with this, so the progress is encouraging.

True, and the cool part is that if organizers do want high resale prices, they can allow that too.  Open provides flexibility in this way.

It depends on how it's set up. If the event organizer sets the rules and doesn't allow resale for more than face value, bots can buy up all they want but they will lose money for processing fees.
