I’ve been struggling to facilitate meetings lately and I think it’s because I’m trying to do everything, any ideas on how to structure roles for meetings and workshops?

I think we get into rabbit holes pretty quickly, even with goals set for the meeting. Everyone is taking notes even if we have a note taker, I try to rail the convo back in but then we deviate again.

Yeah- the facilitator should be separate from the timekeeper and the note taker. The agenda should be clear and have times and desired outcomes (discussion, decision, input requested) listed. Where particularly are you struggling?
