i don't think kamala is going to make it. doesn't have the sauce. unless trump totally implodes or something. race has been weird but feels like most of that is out of the way and we're slouching towards november.

Perfect time to rally as many people as possible to support the Green Party and build towards a future major run with a new candidate next time. If we can break 5%: - people will see they have options and don't have to vote for evil because someone told them it's the "lesser" evil - matching funds unlock for next time - the Free Palestine movement will gain significant political leverage activists can use to pressure whichever admin wins to end the carnage - we can get a much better candidate than Stein next time if they see that the Greens are growing and could actually have a real shot - if things really go south for the Dem and GOP candidates and the antiwar movement has a big surge, Greens could actually win in 2024

The Green Party can’t build a future if they don’t win. Is it possible to get to 40+% for November? What is the highest percentage they’ve gotten in an election?

2.something% so far is the best in a Presidential, not great but you've got to start somewhere. In our system in order to get local candidates ballot lines, in a lot of cases you need to also run a Presidential candidate in that state. So we can't just wait until we're about to win everything to run, we have to do both local and President. Now the goal is to break 5% which would unlock matching funds and change the paradigm for the next election as wells as provide a lot of political leverage for the antiwar movement to pressure the admin whoever it is to stop the wars.
