Yesterday, I met a long-standing friend. We had been well acquainted since I also knew him, until now. At first, some 15 years after having seen him, today seemed to happen in a short time, while our reunion went well: time spent and feeling great for those two friends and the good hour or so after seeing each other. But this made me realize that so many have come and left our lives—people with whom we were the closest, people with whom somewhere along the journey, without noticing when, we said our final goodbyes and never did see each other again. Some of them are so out of sight that often we cannot recall their names also.🙃
