The Wisdom of Crowds only works when the Community is willing to support diverse voices with various forms of capital—starting with Attention Capital. It fails when the Community only listens to the same crowd. If decision-makers truly had all the answers, why do we continue to fall short in solving systemic issues?

I can share that building in Public is a new phenomenon, and most of the old guard has no idea of how to build in public and even the new guard still learning how to do that. if we look at the macro, less than 10% of people globally have adopted crypto, so we are very early, truly at the vanguard. In the vanguard of war many went out and few returned but those that returned victorious were greatly rewarded, so keep building my friend, some people will understand and some don’t, that should not be the deterrent for builders, just keep building.

i understand your POV and i agree with your take, but my post wasn't aimed at the "old guard" because they ain't my audience and to be honest, what's being built today can't rely on the old guard to even have a say about it. Because it is just how you say, they won't understand.

I spent the first half of my career making consumer products (not tech) and the second half understanding or trying to understand why and how people shop / spent their money. From the close to 30 years of experience I can share that the disposal income is in the demographic that has over 20 years working and building wealth, the young demographic is boot strapped for cash and when u hear that they want to build communities most time what they really want is to abstract quick value and are not in it for the long run. U can look at the meme trading market, they move from project to project with not conviction just looking to make a dollar. The old guard is in Bitcoin building wealth. So imho in order for the whole crypto and web3 ecosystem to grow and prosper it needs both the young builders and the old guard that can invest on projects, hold and not sell assets because they are NOT strapped for cash … just my 2 cents here rambling over a glass of wine, good night 👌🏽
