It's a nightmare to "migrate assets" because sometimes is it no even about the seed phrase; there's no way to move "delegation" unless delegators do it themselves.

I love TBAs and agree they have potential to unlock a new range of use cases.

That's true, 💯 
the only good solution I know for that right now is using TBAs. It's not widely adopted yet, but I can imagine a future where migrating assets is as simple as transferring the associated NFT to your new wallet and that's all. 

I'm experimenting with this personally and for some assets in the m3tering protocol, but before this makes sense for mainstream users, we would need wallets that are able to detect assets held by an NFT's TBA. I think @tmoindustries is working on a solution for this 😀
