What is the difference between a co-founder and a founder? Every startup starts with an idea. Often, though not always, this idea comes from one person, namely the founder. It is he who, in essence, starts the company. However, implementing the idea alone is usually impractical, so the founder seeks support. This happens in the form of a co-founder.
