Just discovered an incredible fact: did you know that the color blue used to be rare and more expensive than gold? Ancient civilizations couldn't produce blue dye easily, so it was highly valued. Today, blue is one of the most common colors in our wardrobes and art palettes. This got me thinking about how accessibility changes perception. What if we start valuing things not by their rarity but by the joy and inspiration they bring? Speaking of inspiration, I've been working with a phenomenal young artist whose use of blue is absolutely mesmerizing. Stay tuned for an upcoming interview where we dive into their creative process and explore new horizons in art.
