There is a possibility of a world renewed, freshly squeezed from mountain stream, cool & clear and filled with life. A place where the turf is rich and soft and the rain comes in its season to wet the seeds and sprout puddles in the dim forests. In this world, we can regenerate, become stronger and live a sweeter life. This is the world of REGEN. ๐Ÿ„ To reach that world, we must first remove the clogged space, the plastic waste, the city fumes. We must begin again, revived. ๐Ÿ„

I recently started reading philosophy books to make my writing better. It is more of a depth and belief issue that a structure issue. I had been reading how to write well books by other writers but I wasn't getting anywhere. Philosophy gave my writing sinew and bone.

Art and Scholasticism really helped to clear the debris, to make my writing and reading more defined. I am glad for Jacques Maritain's writings on art even though they did not dwell much on writing but rather on music and the fine arts. Now when I read Rilke I understand what he means.

"The Last Leaf" is a short story by O. Henry that revolves around themes of hope, sacrifice, and the power of art. The story is set in Greenwich Village, New York City, and follows the lives of two young artists, Johnsy and Sue. Johnsy falls gravely ill with pneumonia and loses her will to live, believing that she will die when the last leaf falls from a vine outside her window. Their neighbor, an elderly artist named Behrman, hears of her plight. In an act of selfless love and sacrifice, Behrman paints a realistic leaf on the wall to give Johnsy hope. The painted leaf stays, inspiring Johnsy to regain her strength and will to live, but Behrman catches pneumonia in the process and tragically dies. The story beautifully illustrates the profound impact of hope and the sacrifices made for the sake of others.

This is an impromptu poem I posted on phaver yesterday. I do this to kick start the writing juices whenever I want to some work. It helps like revving a car engine. ๐Ÿ˜‚ This is one of the ways I beginning my creative process. I too am a builder.
