My point is if immortality was a choice, death would probably wouldn't be glorified as much. Maybe humans would get absolutely bored after living thousands of years, I don't know.

I think the boredom thing in context of mortality is bait What do you mean as far as glorified? I just think it’s part of a natural cycle of life (which may be what you mean) which is: birth consume die give back And makes sense as far as resource consumption

polio was also natural until we eradicated it so was aids, but then we suppressed it cancer is also natural but we don't see people glorifying it oh, you know what else is natural? stillbirths — but we fight this one as well

Polio/aids/cancer/still births are all the same point Who affords to live forever? What controls will population growth have? Resources? Ability to procreate limits? Who gets a pension? Who pays for it? Will all virtually immortal folks get along? Brain memory limits? How does this change evolution?
