it's ok, microdosing doesn't work anyway

it seems unlikely to me that taking a little bit of a substance known to be powerfully psychoactive does *nothing* to you

yet, research shows that it works as well as placebo that costs pennies

would love to read that research! got a link or a doi? if it's the study I think you're referencing, half a gram of mushrooms is a pretty large microdose. Also, a lab setting is a terrible place to test this. https://blog.petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2022/04/07/is-microdosing-just-placebo/

"gove me the research" but "i'm dismissing your research before you give me the link because lab is a bad setting" yeah, no, sorry, i will not continue this discussion search for the research on your own, it seems like you've made up your opinion beforehand

Could you share your link? I’m reading conflicting things in my search, and would like to know where you both are coming from.

only read the peer reviewed research and you won't have conflicting sources

Results are inconclusive, more research is needed, people have reported mixed experiences. Not convinced this equals not working. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7457631/

you know what else is inconclusive? acupuncture self-reports mean nothing, look at the studies with placebo and controll groups

Share your sources, please. I’m digging through peer reviewed stuff from Harvard, Johns Hopkins, PubMed, and the NIH. Everyone is on the same page β€” nothing definitive in a lab setting, but self reports are promising and warrant further study as current studies are limited by federal laws.

no amount of sources would ever satisfy you so i'm not going to try to explain how self-reports don't work when comparing a thing to a placebo https://blog.borodutch.com/cardiovascular-diseases-dont-kill-as-many-people-as-stupidity/

The studies I’ve read so far used placebos, and concluded based on what their study groups reported that more study was needed. There is nothing conclusive there. Idk why you feel the need to attack people who are looking to learn.
