humans statistically are not capable of making good decisions on what to eat this is precisely why we need the governments and this is exactly where all governments fail miserably governments must ban all carcinogens, period no matter what your snowflake libertarian ass thinks stop giving yourself cancer, stupid

I wouldn’t give my freedom away for a paternalistic government and an illusion of security. Though, the US government could use some more empathy. — and we should really start educating people in school about that.

There was a FDA and it prohibited psylocibin while allowing opiates to be prescribed like candies all over the country — I don’t care about the FDA

this is one of the examples, are you sure it represents everything that fda did or are you just generalizing?

You’re right — but my example aimed at demonstrating why you shouldn’t trust the government because it won’t act, in a lot of cases, to keep their inhabitants free & happy. I prefer to have freedom, and the accountability that comes with it.

no one claims you need to trust the government, you should never trust it but it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to call for the changes

I don’t believe in the democratic system of my country and the US, if they wanted our opinions they wouldn’t feed us lies and use dirty tricks like Jerry Mandering & minor majority district to shut off political minority even if they are numerical majority. I’ll trust myself and those I love. No thanks.

I see why you see that as ragequit, but I prefer living life on my own term and I don’t pretend that my ideas would be beneficial to people. That’s why I don’t feel compelled to call for change.
