Leopards eating faces party indeed. I think the one from your list that gives me the most trouble is "Facts never change anyone's minds because facts can be interpreted differently and dismissed for any reason." It's the dismissal of facts (and critical thinking) in modern society that has really created a new paradigm.

all humans are prone to dismissing facts, read the book :) you will see that you, too, dismiss facts for the reasons that the author outlines, especially when facts go against your beliefs the author simply explains why it happens and how to overcome this

it's almost like an evolutionary instinct, keep in mind that the best thinkers of the world live by "science only advances one funeral at a time" i've been on a path to try this and i fail more often than i wish to admit, and i actively try to follow data and facts
