simply following the trendline is one thing

thinking outside the existing categories is another

what if

this piece of glass

is no longer needed in 15 years?

but what if in 15 years the silicon they build is outdated (e.g. quantum chips come out)?

what if arkit is no longer needed because it only works with apple devices (that become irrelevant)?

take IBM 20-25 years ago — people would make cases for it forever staying relevant!
