people been asking me a lot this /farcon-nyc my opinion on @bryanjohnson and blueprint, so here's a long cast
1. what Bryan is doing is phenomenal, he's trying so many things and some of them work, a case study is a valid type of research and i follow all of his findings closely
2. philosophy of fighting aging and death has been out there for centuries, but what Bryan did is bringing it mainstream, something Huberman and Attia been doing too, and i highly respect all the people in the space
3. Don't Die is simple and powerful message that is understandable among people who are not into longevity, and i support the message wholeheartedly
4. you mostly get 80% there with diet, sleep, exercise and removing bad habits, but everything extra you do bring you closer to the goal of living forever
5. Bryan is authentic, even if he overstates some things, his vulnerability in the open is something i deeply respect
6. if i pick one thing that resonated with me greatly was his wish to live many lives with his children 21 replies

i also want to see my grandkids, grand-grandkids, grand-grand-grandkids and so on, but also, crap, play ball with them when i'm 250 years old; when my 5-6th generation kids need help with a newborn, i want be there to support
7. given a choice to die or not to (we do not yet have this choice available to everyone), no one would ever choose death, period
8. we have a whole Earth and solar system to explore, i want to take a quick shuttle to Mars or the Belt even if it takes 1000 years; one would never be bored of living
9. Bryan has achieved insane levels of normalizing giving up alcohol, and this is what i majorly respect; if before i was the weird one that didn't drink, nowadays no one ever bats an eye when i pick up club soda
10. dancing as a form of expressing pure happiness among the people you like was a major unlock for me; dance like no one's watching, and be happy in the process, feel the music
11. i'm sure at some point we'll get normalization of giving up the food cult too! 1 reply

if highly palatable food is a thing you can't live without, you haven't lived yet and experienced so much more that the life has in store for you; life is so much more than food
12. granted, even though i don't salt my food, i use plenty of spices, my taste buds adapted and what i eat daily (same meal once a day with 125g of protein and under 1900 kcal) is delicious to me; and hey, not having to think about what to eat or spend time on it was a major unlock
13. the main argument against living forever is surviving your loved ones; but given the option not to die, your loved ones will live thousands of years with you, too
14. i wear Don't Die proudly, and it is an instant conversation starter wherever i go, no matter if people are familiar or not
i have nothing but respect, and hope, for @bryanjohnson
