a friend on instagram told me skiing is lame and thought i should be snowboarding. 

thought that was kind of a childish take but it stings a little nonetheless.

I worked at a ski resort 20 years ago and I started snowboarding but I would say 15ish years ago, skiing became the "cool" thing to do again. A lot of the younger kids got twin tip skis.

The work kind of sucked because I was outside but being a local had a lot of perks and was a blast all through high-school. A ton of people from South America came up to work and they housed them in condos right off the resort so we would go party after riding all day. Good times.

totes different times back then, they’re so crowded now. and yup, i feel like i see a good ratio of skiers :: boarders these days.
