The opening minutes of Saving Private Ryan are among the most harrowing depictions of war ever put on film. Set during the D-Day landing at Omaha Beach, the sequence thrusts viewers into relentless chaos and carnage. Soldiers are mowed down as soon as landing craft ramps drop; bullets tear through flesh, explosions dismember bodies, and blood stains the sea. The visceral realism the shaky handheld camera, muffled screams, and unrelenting violence immerses audiences in the terror and senseless destruction of war. It's unflinchingly brutal, setting the tone for the film's exploration of sacrifice and survival.

I used to love war movies..not anymore. I remember when I first saw this one ( I was 20yo), I had no idea about wars, international conflicts, refugees, etc Now, I suffer way too much when I see these type of movies ..
