There are 147 tokens minted, but how does that translate to the 1 billion coins for new posts?

The coins upgrade is only for new posts made after yesterdays update. It does not apply to older posts, only new ones.

another q @incarterseyes.eth: I understand there is a 1% fee with various splits depending on referrals, on zora vs 3rd party, etc. but happens with the initial purchase? e.g., if I buy $100 of a coin from a creator, what happens to the $100? does it go to the creator + their portion of the fee, or is it purely deposited in the uniswap LP?

All trades (regardless of what platform they happen on) will have a 1% trade fee, with the creator earning half of the 1% fee. The other 99% is used to make the trade in the pool. However, if the trade happens ON Zora, an additional 1% trade fee is added, with half of that fee being earned by the creator. The other 98% fee is used to make the trade in the pool. As the creator, when you make a post and if you do the initial first when posting, you’ll earn rewards in it(since it’s a trade) and the rest goes to the pool since that’s where you’re buying from.
