i hope we see narrowcasting come back in some way in the future

Not really. Would like to cast about certain topics but only want people interested in those topics to see it

Hmm I’ll keep thinking on it. But I’m a bit confused as to the benefit of having casts go only to one specific channel (narrowcasting by topic) + the caster’s home feed. 

To allow people to cast about things that aren’t related to what built their audience, without impacting engagement?

Oh I was referring more to quality of engagement rather than volume. 

Kind of like subreddits get deeper commentary than an X feed, because the interest and average knowledge of participants on that niche topic is much greater
