Awesome! Love the use of a channel for this, really helps tie together external writing into a single spot ✨ I came across your substack newsletter when I first started there, but now it looks like you post on paragraph? Do you double publish it or is it different writing? Trying to figure out my own workflow 😊

I’m publishing twice, but only sending via substack or paragraph so readers only get 1 email Migrating to paragraph at the moment, but need to move premium subs + make sure delivery works well Then I’ll set up an onchain membership (not only fiat) Lots to do

I see, so you’ve blended the email address list between the two, rather than separate the paragraph list and substack list? And for on chain membership, is that where @hypersub comes in? Appreciate the insight! Still trying to figure out a workflow with minimal double posting, considering I also put on my blog

Yes, i was blending towards Substack Now I am blending towards Paragraph At some point I will just use Paragraph, ideally soon Hypersub is for the onchain subs, currently using normal subs via substack. That's the last step

Makes sense! So will you permanently redirect your previous substack posts to paragraph? And how does this all fit in with your website? Will you direct paragraph to your custom domain? Sorry for all the questions, generally trying to sort it all out as I integrate things with my site and really appreciate it 😊

This is my biggest challenge at the moment (+ how many readers won’t get my emails from paragraph because they get lost in spam or delivery issues) Cont πŸ‘‡

Some facts (maybe you can help me figure this out) 1. Currently I am only getting 300-400 monthly views via SEO. 2. I’ve 300 articles in substack. 3. I like substack discovery, currently getting 200 new subs per month there. I’m also bestseller there, so I show up in the leaderboards Cont πŸ‘‡

4. I also use substack for my podcast (it replicates it to other platforms) Cont πŸ‘‡

My current plan: 1. Keep everything on substack, continue to post there(but not send emails there). 2. Figure out how to move all the articles - beehiiv has a migration tool, not sure if @colin has something that can help me 3. Point domain to paragraph 4. Use substack domain on substack Cont πŸ‘‡

What do you think @wanderloots.eth? Maybe I shouldn’t care too much about migrating old content? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

These are great questions, and what have been taking up most of my brain power lately haha. 1. SEO issue might be tied to the substack domain reference (i've heard poor stats for SEO from substack hosted sites, but can't confirm myself) 2. 300 articles is A TON of IP, so I wouldn't discount it lightly contπŸ‘‡

3. The substack discovery of 200 subs a month is a wildly great stat; agree you should continue posting there, if not emailing from substack 4. I think your podcast should be fine as is, can always migrate to another host when true web3 podcasting comes out (assuming you're using RSS for distribution) cont πŸ‘‡

5. @colin mentioned the other day they're working on a substack migrator, so I think I'd hold off on beehiv for now (not sure on the ETA though) 6. migrating old content matters most because of where it will now be displayed for SEO purposes, you want to keep the date and info, but avoid duplication imo. cont πŸ‘‡

so, we get into the issue of being unable to point two systems to one domain. Since you're planning on using substack as an archive, you could point substack to a subdomain of your main site (which @paragraph now points to (e.g., sub.kaloh.xyz) but, not 100% ideal for SEO, though I've been reading that... cont πŸ‘‡
