in most cases onchain: investor is the user, user is the investor, incentives align offchain: investor extracts value from the user, user gets nothing in return “only possible onchain” will become a norm i know for damn sure where i’m spending my time lol

ohhhhh man a good question, mostly the basics but that’s just bc of when I found the space in 2017 first asset landing in a self custody wallet - “i own this and no one can do anything w it but me” trading on uniswap 24/7 now it would be a lot of what we see here - wallet connected to collect art, portable id

yeah for sure, those are good ones. Can you elaborate on why uniswap was such a big deal? I understand for the most part, but not the cultural vibes of what happened Portable ID is huge for me, imo, one of the greatest benefits and the reason why I DYORed crypto in 2018

any asset having global liquidity was big for me as someone w a tradfi investment background permissionless access and the 24/7/365 nature of it too they played such a huge role in the rebound in 2020 w defi summer, pretty much did all my swapping there back then, on ethereum mainnet lol different era now
