that's true! I guess i'm always thinking from the perspective of an artist, who often have issues with people taking things whether its CC0 or not haha

have been thinking a lot about this and will have more to share when i get a chance to write it up

it can be, provided there's attribution given or that the person's brand/style is large enough to be recognized without the attribution

another "remix" issue is the training of ai models without permission

not saying remixing is bad, totally agree re: patronage and distribution, but the context has an impact
