Thanks!!! It was a once in a lifetime shot. I got special permission from the Nicaragua government to bring a drone into the country. I don’t think anyone has aerial drone photos of this volcano. They are so illegal there.

It was a phantom 3 pro. It’s a double row pano and I think I was in 2017 I was there to photograph a research team that went down to the lava lake to install sensors to predict eruptions.

That’s incredible! I love stories like this, I feel like it’s the origin of photography haha. Photography got huge with mountaineering, to help people prove they climbed to the top. This is an extension 150 years later I think
