Yes. In some cases it might increase the risk for the person who's doing the blocking. At the very least, casters should be able to opt-out of receiving these notifs in their mentions.

Thanks for the feedback. Will add that. Blocks are intended to be public (similar to other social platforms). However, I get what you mean and I'll add a way to unsubscribe from notifications

i think the default should be unsubscribed from blocks, with an opt in model. the reasons for blocking someone could be quite personal and even one instance of notifying someone might produce bad scenarios. There's a reason when blocks happen on other social media platforms the person being blocked is not notified
