the Sora stuff is absolutely mind-blowing and Google's Gemini 1.5 announcement appears to be the most capable multi-modal text LLM ever seen in case it wasn't already clear, we're likely to see more technological change in the next 15-20 years than we saw in the previous 50 prepare yourselves- onward and upward 🚀

Maybe even in the next ~5. I think by 2030 we’ll be operating quite differently in many aspects of life (especially work)

whenever i say a timeline, everyone divides it by 2 or 3 😂 that said, in 50 years we went from analog to digital to mobile. i stand by it, but at this point, probably looking more like 15 than 20
