you gotta hand it to Playstation for making stellar single player story games. in recent memory, both Ghost of Tsushima and the latest God of War series are world class examples of that.

The evolution of his relationship with Atreus was such a strong arc too, reinforced by how much more useful the kid is to the gamer too - so the character and the player grow together in appreciating The Boy

100% same. that scene where Kratos is reluctantly picking up the Blades of Chaos again is one of the most brilliantly written moments in a video game that i've ever seen.
