The last movie I watched (last night) was 'A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' from the Hunger Games movie universe. And, of course, my all-time favorite is the Hunger Games movie series. I typically love dystopian movies, but the Hunger Games stand out to me because of how it addresses socio-political themes and issues such as authoritarianism, media manipulation, economic inequality, and personal sacrifice. I believe that everyone should watch the movie series and read the books too, because there's a lottt that can be learned about human nature, power, and the complexities that come with fighting for justice.
