I still think all the time about this review I read of the first Bon Iver album. It said the laptop is now the folk instrument. We all have one, and we all know how to use it.

I’ve been in a deep myth binge. Just finished Iron John and Sibling Society. I like Bly, but sometimes he sounds like Old Man Yelling At Cloud. Anyone got good follow up recommendations?

“The Crown” went to its forever home with a long time collector today. 30x40” Graphite on panel I keep coming back to the graphite works, they have a mystery I’ve not yet full figured out.

The Creative Act What's considered art is simply an agreement. And none of it is true. What is true is that you are never alone when you're making art. You are in a constant dialogue with what is and what was, and the closer you can tune in to that discussion, the better you can serve the work before you. -Rick Rubin

“Accumulator” changes its appearance through the day and as the viewing angle changes. Here it is in the morning sunrise, and at night on the same day. Acrylic, mica, polymer on panel 24 x 24 inches

Perhaps my favorite piece from the Whitney Biennial last week. The hanging pieces are unfixed photo film, meaning they change over time and continually develop while exposed to light.
