Welcome to The Crucible. Here $DEGEN tipping game moderators discuss and enforce tip etiquette and tipping game participation. This first wave of moderators were, by and large, nominated by the wider degen and farcaster communities. Each has demonstrated grit and creativity within the Warpcast context and kept the spirit of the tipping project in mind as they explore new ways to build, grow, and make friends. You all tip wisely. Now it's up to you and the community to decide and enforce what that means and, ultimately, whether a tip counts as good quality.

Hey Degen team! 🎉 Congrats on the new content moderation initiative! It's a fantastic step towards maintaining quality and integrity in our community! While dedegen is great for removing low quality content how about introducing something to highlight and reward high quality contributions? Maybe we could have a prodegen or updegen that boosts tips 2x when the required number of moderators comment. This positive reinforcement could really encourage better content creation and give our community members something to strive for. Just a thought! That's a neat idea! I like the symmetric poetry of an "upvote" besides regular tips to balance the downvote function. I worry that it consolidates too much quality-control power among too few mods. But as the program grows and mods figure out amongst themselves what "best practice" is, maybe we can revisit this and see if the community consents to letting mods "super upvote" deserving stuff. Another avenue is having a leaderboard for great posts. Enabling better discovery should bring that post more organic degen tips by boosting its visibility. Just a different road to the same outcome (getting deserving posts more rewards).

Surfacing creators and highlighting content is absolutely key, especially with the grind of discoverability and building an audience on Warpcast ✨ The “Tip of the Hat” was a great start! Maybe we can have a place for daily curation of posts, where suggestions can be shared. It would really help everyone who’s building an audience and striving to get noticed.
