there was a time when warpcast gating was available to all channels. as i recall, very few switched over. why do you think that was?

most channels are abandoned, owners will not care about implementing any (auto) invite system, therefor they die. The couple that do have people caring will have awkward UX to sign up for them.

Invite-only channels should be opt-in. Period.
