Suspect it's due to social impetus for tipping. Most farmers were using it to farm direct tips or indirect clout. @jacek brought the hammer down on farmers, people caught in the cross fire left with reduced tips. Smaller tip amounts = less interest. Would still love to see them bring back some form of good behaviour reward

Probably better that we let the habit and surrounding culture atrophy and fade before attempting anything new, then. If we wait a year we can attempt a fresh start with new expectations. Worthwhile experiment, especially if we can apply the lessons of yesteryear. Also interesting to see how price action plays out with fewer zero cost basis players.
