fox-news conservatives love to signal their gun fetish, as if it makes them look dangerous, cool, and competent. it's childish: you can own and use guns without fetishizing them. healthy fear for a powerful tool is respectful, humble. humility isn't a maga trait and that makes them vulnerable.

the notion that people who value freedom are incapable of defending that philosophy is... naive at best. you just don't know i'm armed because i didn't share it on youtube like a dumbass.

This is the right answer, both sides lack the nuance but there's an obvious issue in this country,  the issue being it's way to easy for kids to get shot in classrooms

Meh. The self defense argument is weak, imo. Americans don't really /need/ guns day to day and crime is going down, historically.

Yes, a country with a large land does not have a security center around the house, so it seems that a gun is needed.
