people get too upset about frames. >they aren't official (every bot checker is unique) >they're all doing something different (calc tips diff, calc bot diff, etc) >they don't agree about anything (degen tips, whether you're a bot...) >they're passive; they don't affect warpcast or farcaster much ado about nothing.

So true. Users were depending on this frame to check their profile status, which is not backed up by any data. Beside hidden replies which dont indicate being a spam

TBF mvrs frame is pulling from the WC API. It just "describes" being below the fold as = to "being a spammer" which is upsetting folks. Not a problem, really, just a little more confusion.

I'm yet to find proof of other reasons replies end up there. Mine are always there. Can change the wording if that's the case. But we can't deny that if your replies are the warpcast flagged you as uninteresting and OK to hide. Which imho you could refer to as spam label

disagree on the last part. "spammer" is a specific offense with clear cause: you spammed (verb). gently overusing tags and other misbehavior can cause the algo to hide your content, not just spamming content. people who don't spam are sometimes hidden. those people are rightfully confused and don't know how to adjust. hidden users aren't always spammers. we need a different word.

I find it offensive to be hidden so I thought it fits perfectly but I'm also not a native English speaker. Legit emails also sometimes end up in my mailbox' spam folder. It's labeled spam while it isn't. A lot of people don't spam and are on warpcasts I hide your uninteresting replies list. Where does this sometimes come from? It's 7/7 times for me

Yeah, agree it's commonplace. For some casters it's accidentally misleading; they didn't spam and are called a spammer and don't know how to fix something they didn't do. And so they get extra frustrated. That's my only point.

It is frustrating but it's not up to the frame to make it better. It cannot undo the hiding. Only the parent cast author can do that by interacting

agree. however the more correct description is "you are hidden" not "you were hidden for spamming" or "you are a spammer" imo. They were hidden. Their content is being hidden.

Frame says "marked as a spammer" referring to how Warpcast labeled you to determine whether it should hide your replies yes/no Idk what the actual flags name in their backends they use for bots, spammers, real users
