Live from Farcon: Base has zero plans for a token. They're enamored with the blooming token economy, led by DEGEN, and want to encourage growth. Moreover, a token would be regressive, in Jesse's view, and Base team would rather decentralize the network "the hard way", w/o one.

TLDR: No Base token. Degen to $1.

I did a long shot bet…the odds were juicy was hoping for a long shot double win if they did one. But nope, double loser. Fun ride. 

Can’t say I expected an airdrop , usdc almost seems like the coin the team is rallying behind.
