gah, no kidding.

i was in paris in the spring, once. finished a day at the louvre, buying street art by the river. night falls, return to the courtyard behind the louvre. a cellist is playing vivaldi, it reverberates through the old stone. memory cemented.

I feel it deeply. After a little over a year in Paris, I’m still not used to this city in the best possible way

a city of secrets and blood for all its beauty. just a remarkable place, all around.

this is the part that I think makes it so devastatingly beautiful.
