I have had many, many chances. Each time my brain... disagrees. Got wasted and ate fried squid in Latvia once. That's about it lol

I love fried stuff and I was drunk. I'm sure it went fine hah. Usually when I have squid or octopus my impression is that the meat is "rubbery" but maybe I haven't had it prepared the right way.

Full on tentacles with suckers intact is too much monster food for me lol

Both squid and octopus are insanely hard to cook, 90% of the time is gonna taste like rubber😂

But when its nicely cooked is tender and incredibly flavored

Yeah, that's the other thing. I struggle with eating pork for the same reason. Smart animals can suffer in ways simpler animals can't. I don't want to contribute to that, I really like not hurting animals lol
