People who are bearish on Degen because tips meta is ending are funny, you mean we’re going to distribute less of the token, a million apps are springing up giving Degen utility across the ecosystem, layer 3 is just getting started, and you’re bearish?

Degen is still the best proxy for longing FC, believe in it

I can tell you, as someone /at/ farcon... degen just /is/ part of the culture now.

tipping is how degen token distributes. it's one of the many, many things that makes the farcaster user experience fun. it's is also one of the many, many things that makes $DEGEN token valuable. but not the only or the most important.

Tips aren’t ending soon and these allowances are how we accomplish keeping them here.

Lower emissions just means more scarcity. This is economics 101.

Over the next six months I expect an explosion of low-effort tipping tokens. Each will speed run degen's trail and eventually collapse. In six-ish months tipping token behavior will be 90% degen and 10% token mayflies.

can't really comment. it's a solid project, different in character than degen, and deployer is a mad ham scientist. on the tipping side, they're struggling with similar spam/ abuse issues (ofc). but I haven't mastered the tokenomics and adjacent nft stuff for /lp and can't speculate (yet)

What are your thoughts on TN100x?

I’ve heard great things about @deployer . I picked up 2M a couple days ago and already more than doubled my money.

Pretty sure it has a lot more room to run. Curious what you think.
