If I wasn't a mod, my approach would be: 

>leave PM on for signal clarity (Warpcast only)
>use @supercast for unfiltered feed

I cannot /overstate/ how much more valuable CLIENTS (Jam, Supercast, Memecaster, Nook, etc etc etc) will make the farcaster protocol AND smooth out friction.

As stuff matures, each one will try out their OWN feed quality controls. Some might just piggy back offa Power Badge, others will do something totally different.
