Yes, and a needed transition from “free tipping” to “real tipping”. Frames makes that so much easier, also for the newcomers.

Sorta. People will transition to "real tipping" when they're ready. And frictionless technology will make that easier.

But I also think a more mature, less trivially gamed version of the "tipping" system will survive and reward ppl indefinitely (per @jacek's comment at farcon). Less money, but /constant/ pressure
