tbh i’m not here to glaze for Farcaster haha I just think there are a lot of other much more thoughtful things to criticize than that that said, i do genuinely still find it amazing that anybody is still consistently casting thoughtful stuff (including myself). That’s the toughest thing to get started imo

not looking for bias or glazing. genuinely curious. I suspect our scariest graphs include a lot of noise. or that there are different stories to tell from the same data set. maybe all cope, but I am looking for evidence that stuff /is/ working, not just disconfirmation. I've spent a lot of time thinking about motives lately. What motivates you, personally? And if Farcaster regresses back to Dec '23, would that help or hinder?

i think you’re generally right about noise, but in all honesty the core group of people i originally casted with/for has basically moved on and I don’t think they’ll meaningfully come back for me, Farcaster is my live journal, a practice space for thoughts + bits + jokes, and a (perhaps temporary) home for /okbanger I am not relying on it for my success anymore though. Too much can change too fast both technically and socially. Just because it’s my favorite place on the internet means it’s gonna work or thrive (which is a bummer)
