Reduced /replyguys holdings🤔 Was this move triggered by the potential changes to channels, as they would be open to only invited members, and this could reduce various channels’ activity thereby reducing their worth ?

Niceee, that’s actually true, poorly moderated channels would suffer It all boils down to the hosts and their level of enthusiasm towards the channels they’ve created But wont this create mini-cabals in channels ?

if mini-cabal = cozy corner, yes. otherwise idk what a cabal is in this context. besides, it's a permissionless protocol; if we don't like a channel, we don't have to use it and can make a new one with ease.

Quite true ! It would take some adapting to though, a lot of people keep streak in major channels, and apart from the fun, some people feel “held accountable” by the streaks, and are often pushed to create, so they could have substantial content to post, while maintaining the streaks /design & /commitment channels for example
