yes. from decision time-t you get one minute of future-forward experience. no, it's still bounded by human machinery; ie, your personal history from now until one minute from now will be clearly and distinctly known to you.

So we just have to sit along for the ride even after knowing it? If this is the case, sounds like a rough deal. You lose the anticipation/surprise emotional boosts for good things AND get augmented dread for bad things. Perhaps a stoic would enjoy the mental training.

the value is in the knowing, but yes, you don't get to change the outcome. your future-knowledge is part of the canonical timeline; any changes are also baked in.

I wonder if the ability to remember positive experiences in the same perfect detail as negative experiences would even out our (my) human tendency to overweight negative events. This really does sound like a devil's bargain as presented.
