The signals that tend to do very well fall into one of three categories: 

1. Graph based -- spammers often share similar patterns of activity which can be used to catch them 

2. Behaviors - they also tend to do things a certain way, because they're being repetitive in their actions (e.g. posting at fixed internals) 

3. Textual - the content of their casts is often very predictive of their quality

if you're worried you've been unfairly labeled as "a spammer" read this thread.

Their system is more thoughtful than you might assume and learns quickly.

/superrare now asks that we add links, and I love that because I had people sharing my art to get tips and wouldn't credit me. It happened to many artists actually.

There are other art channels I need to explore as well. I didn't realize sharing in channels was "safe" from spam tag :-)

hosts control their channels. if you're a member, you're allowed to post there.

there's no definition for spam that works in this context. it's all wanted content because it's from a member.
