Is Batman Returns a Christmas movie? What about Nightmare Before Christmas? Or Edward Scissorshands?

Realizing my favorite Christmas movies are all Burton joints. Nice.

I adore it. No, I don't think it's Space Odyssey or Blade Runner lol

but I love it for what it /is/

Third and forth Batman movies were bastards. Schumacher killed the entire industry. Batman was grittier and less campy; Returns was more ridiculous, admittedly, but I thought that was fun for the time.

When the first one came out, I really liked it because it was the first time Batman made a meaningful TV/movie appearance since the 1960s TV show. The cast was really cool too.

IDK, I felt like the second one was a bit of a letdown, and they progressively got worse until the Christian Bale ones.  

But I can also see if you're a Tim Burton fan, why you'd vibe with it :)
