Considering all types of wheels, for machinery, etc., and people throughout the world with various transportation devices and small homes, I'd go wheels.

ok yes but doors predate wheels by 2,000 years, does this change your perception?

not really. assuming that is true, I don't think that difference contributes materially to the current total number. I think it is all too hard to quantify, depends on what types of wheels you are counting, and we aren't going to have a definitive answer in any event. but does make you think.
