Vercel and others measure things completely differently Vercel has 30+ different things (e.g. edge requests, image cache requests, etc.) all custom priced. Hard to estimate the bill. Railway (and similar) charge for RAM/CPU/disk and (unfortunately) egress.

Yeah. The main problem with NextJS though is that it leaks memory. Not noticeable on serverless, but long runing process on traditional server is guaranteed to run out of RAM from time to time
